These summarise a reserve's condition based on an ecological review every 5 years.
Carnarvon Reserve
The condition of grasslands, grassy woodlands and springs have improved or been stable. The impacts of livestock, cultivation and clearing have been removed and feral grazing reduced. Mosaic burning is reducing wildfire risk. Many brigalow patches burnt in 2013 are susceptible to buffel grass and weeds continue to pose a threat.

Edgbaston Reserve
We've focused on saving the Red-finned Blue-eye and have increased occupied springs from four to six. We'll need to continue this and begin captive breeding. Endemic plants Eriocaulon aloefolium and E. giganteum persist. Total ground cover and cover of perennial grasses has increased but buffel grass is an ongoing challenge.

Eurardy Reserve
Overall there's been considerable improvement in ecosystems and the communities and species they support, especially the birds. We've addressed several key threats to biodiversity, but recovery from historical land use is likely to be a slow process given the reserve's location on the northern most edge of the wheat belt.

Fitz-Stirling Reserves
Our 2012-17 report covers Beringa, Cherininup Creek, Chingarrup Sanctuary, Monjebup, Monjebup North, Nowanup, Peniup, Red Moort, Yarrabee Wesfarmers and Yarraweyah Falls. Together these properties cover 10,200 hectares, which includes around 5,250 hectares of undisturbed bushland. The importance of Bush Heritage reserves to conservation is highlighted by their differences in vegetation occurrence and distribution and also differences in species distribution.

Kojonup Reserve
We've maintained or improvement condition of Conservation Targets through ending farming, establishing vegetation in adjacent paddocks, and implementing ongoing weed, fox and rabbit control. A population of Red-tailed Phascogales has been established. A decrease in rainfall since acquisition has lowered water tables.

Scottsdale Reserve
There's been a consistent improvement in ecosystems, communities and species that they support, particularly birds. An exception is the Murrumbidgee River, aspects of which we have limited control over. Initial results are encouraging and more ambitious revegetation projects will help address weed and erosion control.

Yourka Reserve
Repair or establishment of tracks, boundary fences, workshop and visitor accommodation has been a focus. Siam weed control and monitoring is ongoing. Fire management aims to modify vegetation structure in the dry forests and woodlands to benefit small birds and other fauna. Re-routing tracks and bank stabilisation has improved billabongs.
